Entrance

The main door is a standard opening mechanism. Key in the lock and turn the handle to open. To lock it you need to turn the handle up as far as it will go before you turn the key.

Kitchen

The kitchen has a double oven with a grill /microwave and electric hobs.

We kindly request that you don’t use anything abrasive on the wooden surfaces. There are dedicated cleaning materials under the sink.

Feel free to use the filter machine. We have provided ground coffee, as well as herbal and breakfast teas and staples in the cupboard to the left of the oven.

Microwave (Doubles as the top oven)

Press the right arrow to display Microwave

Press the down arrow to see wattage

Press the right arrow to go to max

Press the down arrow to see the time settings -use the arrows to choose time

Press the arrow on the far right to start cooking time

Main Oven

The main oven is straightforward to operate and if needed there is a manual under the cutlery drawer.

Hobs

To use the ceramic hobs press and hold the on off key -bottom right.

Press the required cook zone

Use the slider in the centre to adjust the electric power. Make sure your hands and the hobbs are free of smears.

To switch off press the required cook zone again and press the on /off switch.

The extractor fan operates by Remote Control only.

The control for the fan is in the drawer directly below the cutlery drawer. It has a bright red label. You may need to charge it up from time to time on one of the USB points.

Dishwasher

The dishwasher is east to operate. Open door, switch on and choose programme. If needed there is a manual under the cutlery drawer.

Washing machine and Dryer

are easy to operate. Washing pods are provided and I recommend the current temperature 40 for most garments. See the manual for particular materials.

Patio Door

To open the patio door

Roll up the blind until it’s free of the door opening, depress the small white button on the left and slide the catch over as far as it will go.

Turn the key clockwise. Turn the door handle up until its vertical. Slide door to left.

Reverse the process to lock, remembering to slide the catch up over the white button.

Door facing the sea

To open the door, turn the handle up anti clockwise then turn the knob clockwise to open

To close from the inside pull the handle up anti-clockwise to vertical. While holding it up and turn the knob clockwise.

TV controls

Turn the TV on by pressing the green button on the Sony Remote.

Then press the home button on the sky remote to see the channels available.

Always use the large Sony remote to switch off.

Bathroom light

Comes on automatically when someone enters and goes if automatically after a certain period. There is no light switch. 👍
